A blend of old vines, 100 years old for the Grenache, 60 years old for the Mourvèdre and 45 years old on average for the Syrah. 12 of the most mineral parcels of the Southern Rhône Valley that have been selected.

90/100 - JAMES SUCKLING
"The deep black-cherry and ripe-blackberry fruit, plus the full, soft body push this to the edge of sweetness on the palate. However, the gentle dry tannins at the velvety finish just keep it on track. A style that now seems a bit dated, but plenty of wine drinkers love this. Drink now"

Terroir

During the 2017 vintage, Xavier carried out some mineral salts analysis across more than 400 parcels of the Southern Rhône including the most famous appellations, some villages as well as some Cotes du rhone parcels in terms of mineral salts.
